HOW TO TRAIN A PARENT

So this adult training lark sure is hard work.

At home everyone keeps saying to me “what’s the magic word?”. I keep saying “open” and lo and behold I get asked the exact same question again. Mummy even says “please, Olivia”. Not sure if everyone’s a bit hard of hearing or they just don’t understand. Though I am pretty sure they are all a bit deaf. Even when I shout a lot no-one seems to hear.

I find frequent repetition seems to work. For example if I repeat the word “tea” constantly, sooner or later someone gets the message and makes me cup. Otherwise, I have to resort to more obvious methods, such as grabbing them by the hand and pulling them to the kitchen. Sometimes it sure can be difficult handling these big people.
