GIVE ME WINGS AND I WILL SWIM

So its been quite a while since my last wrote. So much has happened. I can jump (and jump and jump). Also, I have decided that the potty is not such an alarming concept. I can go all by myself, though its always good to have company in the bathroom. You can talk and laugh at the same time. Not sure why adults don’t share this view. Actually, I have come to realize that big people have some pretty strange ideas about most things. All the things that are the most fun (like climbing up really high, unpacking all the clothes in the cupboards and throwing things in the toilet) make them get really stressed out.

My week began with a visit to the cardiologist for a check up. She took lots pictures of my heart using a big machine and pronounced me A-OK. I was really good and lay very still. Of course I was allowed lots of chocolate. I may only be two, but I certainly understand the concept of bribery. The things I do for chocolate…
Then we had a BIG thunderstorm at home. Lightning hit a tree near the house and set the tree on fire. The tree spat fire like a dragon for a whole day and set the grass on fire. Daddy wasn’t home so Mummy and the neighbours had to play at being firemen and put it out. Finally the tree fell over and the fire went out after burning for more than a day. I didn’t get to see much, but it was still very exciting.

I am also still learning to swim. I have a new pair of superhero wings especially for swimming. I use them in the swimming pool and now I can move around only holding on a little bit to mummy. I’m still not really keen on putting my head under water, but superheroes are not necessarily fish, are they?
